The maintenance Worker is assigned with tasks in line with the upkeep and maintenance of workplace facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance 

• Ensure all maintenance stock, tools and equipment are correctly protected at all times (inspection).
• Keep stock secure and primary keys controlled.
• Keep and hand in all relevant administration and documents to management (checklists).
• Deliver all tasks and deadlines as stipulated by the inspection list, daily action list and preventative maintenance list as required by management (inspection list & observation).
• Provide management with feedback and progress on maintenance issues daily (logs, meeting minutes, reports).
• Complete the required tasks and responsibilities to the highest standard and in line with company policies and procedures (observation).
• Manage equipment breakdowns promptly whilst keeping management informed of the progress and expected repair time/date (reports).

OHS

• Comply to compulsory health and safety guidelines/requirements within all areas of Mustek (checklists, H&S forms)
• Ensure all risks are dealt with immediately and do not place the company, its staff, members or the public at any risk of danger/harm (inspection)

Housekeeping

• Ensure all areas of the Mustek are well presented and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, health & safety (inspection) oversee.

• Matric
• Basic Computer literacy
• Driver’s license will be an added advantage
• Administrative experience

• Company processes and procedure
• Working knowledge of occupational health and safety as well as quality standards
• Facilities and communications infrastructure of the company
• Must be able to carry out responsibilities in accordance with Mustek’s values, policies and procedures and stipulated Health & Safety regulations
